12 weeks gestation.. legal to kill in all 50 states. Does this look like a blob of cells to you? It’s just a matter of size. At 12 weeks, the entire Central Nervous System is formed. but “murder” is illegal?

Crown to rump length averages 61mm, or about 2.5 inches. At this point it doesn’t have separate fingers and toes, eyelids, a respiratory system, or skin. Not that any of that matters re: the bodily autonomy of the person whose uterus its in if that person doesn’t want it there.

Bullshit. I was that size when i was BORN prematurely ~6weeks early. NO FUCKING CHANCE a baby looks like that at 12weeks.

1) I was at the Hunterian last week, where they have preserved foetuses in pretty much every stage of gestation, and at 12 weeks a foetus is still an embryo. 

2) I do not give a fuck if at 12 weeks (or at 14 weeks, when I had my abortion) the damn thing looks like the cutest little babykins you ever laid eyes on; it is still trespassing in my fucking womb and if I want that taken out of my body then it gets taken the fuck out of my body.

3) I’m sick of this fucking puny moral justification bullshit or drawing lines about when things become cute. Bottom line: you do not have the right to force someone to gestate a foetus. And a desperate woman will find a way to rid herself of an unwanted child; better that it’s done safely, in a hospital, with aftercare and therapy if needed, than in the back of a pick-up with a coathanger, or in her bathtub with some gin and her frightened best friend trying to beat her into a miscarriage. 

Or, you know, when it’s born and is actually a person, chucking it into a bin because she’s been so freaked out by the entire business of fucking pregnancy that she can’t handle the process of putting the bean up for adoption.

Protect the children who are already here, assholes.
